Election Day Is May 16th !!!!!!
Why is the municipal election important? The municipal election will determine who will be in charge of the decisions who will impact your life on a daily basis from school board to county executive. The municipal election is your most local election which elects not only the people who will not only represent your jurisdiction but who also are in charge of managing the budget, enforcing the laws, creating policy, and apportioning investments in communities. These crucial elections determine the local foundation that lays the groundwork for the presidential election.
Important Dates For You To Remember
Election Day: Tuesday May 16, 2023 is the Municipal Primary. Polls are open on election day from 7 A.M. – 8 P.M.
Last day to request a mail-in or absentee ballot: May 9, 2023. https://www.pavoterservices.pa.gov/OnlineAbsenteeApplication/#/OnlineAbsenteeBegin
Last day to register to vote: May 1, 2023. https://www.pavoterservices.pa.gov/Pages/voterregistrationstatus.aspx
Make Your Voting Plan
Are you voting in person or through the mail. You NEED to have a plan in place.
- First time voting at your polling place, remember to bring an id.
- Bring a Black Pen just in case.
- Voting through the mail
- Do not forget to put your ballot in the secrecy envelope
- Do not forget to sign and date the back envelope
- Do not forget to add your stamp before your drop it in the mail
